How can we help?
Find answers about our logistics, shipping support, and customs clearance services.
Which documents are required for customs clearance?
The main documents are the bill of lading or air waybill, commercial invoice, packing list, and any applicable permits or certificates. Additional documents may be required depending on the cargo type, declared value, origin, and customs regulations.
Do you arrange cargo insurance, or must the customer arrange it?
Cargo insurance can be arranged through Behajas upon request, or customers may use their preferred insurance provider. Insurance is not automatic and should be confirmed before shipping. Coverage, exclusions, and costs are subject to the insurer’s terms.
Can you handle import, export, transit, and project cargo?
Yes. We coordinate import, export, transit, and project cargo. Each consignment is reviewed individually so that the documentation, transportation, handling, and regulatory requirements can be properly planned.
How are estimated shipping times explained, and what can cause delays?
We provide an estimated transit time based on the route, shipping method, and available carrier schedule. These times are estimates and may be affected by weather, port congestion, carrier schedule changes, customs procedures, inspections, or incomplete documentation. Customers are informed of significant delays and changes.
What documents must a customer provide before shipping begins?
Customers should provide a commercial invoice, packing list, complete cargo details, and any required permits or certificates. A bill of lading or air waybill may also be required when applicable. Additional documents will depend on the cargo type, route, and destination.
